Inside Out And Back Again

I have read this book before, and I think it is a good one. To start, it is poetry, the whole book is poems. That might not be for everyone, just as a note. It is written by Thanhha Lai. The plot is about a girl, Kim Ha, who lived in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. She and her family, must leave Vietnam because it is no longer safe because of the war. They travel on a boat carrying other Vietnamese people to the United States. It then talks about how Kim adjusts to the U.S after the war, a completely different place. If this storyline interests you, I recommend checking out and reading this book.
